Kitulgal is small town in the west of Sri Lanka approximately 100km from Colombo and popular with water rafting. The river flowing through the village offering white water rafting adventure in Sri Lanka, The Academy awards wining movie –The Bridge on the River Kwai was filmed on the River near Kitulgala.
